Germany-based airline, airberlin, has announced the introduction of a direct service to Dubai from Berlin. The non-stop service will begin on November 4th and will mean there are three flights to Dubai from the German capital every week.

Jet Airways has introduced 46 new flights to its domestic services to meet expected demand over the winter months. The airline will now offer a number of direct flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderbad from Vishakhapatnam, as well as introducing flights to Delhi from Bhopal and Ahmedabad.

Air India has begun non-stop flights to Delhi from Toronto as it expands into North America. Last year, the airline introduced direct flights to Delhi from three US destinations - Newark, New York and Chicago.

Royal Brunei Airlines has revealed it is will offer direct flights to Melbourne from London Heathrow in 2011.

Three China-based airlines have revealed plans to offer new flights to Melbourne before the end of 2010. Chris Woodruff, the chief executive officer of Melbourne airport, explained the additional flights will allow for direct flights to Beijing as well as boosting capacity.
