This week I prepared and hosted a workshop on ‘how to blog’ for researchers. It was basically a hands-on session where we get to create a wordpress blog, explore the features the software has to offer, and discuss the deeper meaning of blogging: What is behind the technology?

Greg's research and teaching focus on new media and politics, information and communication technologies, computer networks, and media globalization. Greg provides analysis and commentary for the media on the role of new media in Canadian and American politics. In the fall 2008 Greg worked with CBC-The National on its internet coverage of the Canadian federal election. In 2007 Greg joined Ottawa's The Hill Times as a political columnist.
