This journal mentioned that the social networking tools could be provided the chances for users to do self learning by sharing the resources on the online platforms. To establish the social networking tools in schools properly, protecting the personal privacy and maintaining the openness for teaching should be taken the balance. Developing the social media policy is important for the schools. It could make the social media tools bringing the advantages to the users but also protecting the resources.

The article was focused on the topic of social media policies. The author mentioned that social media policies were to provide the guidelines for developing the social media tools. The policies could also help the libraries to avoid breaking the laws of copyright, fair use and posting accurate information to the users.

This paper reported the results of libraries not using the social media tools and whether there were any strategic decisions supported the archives and libraries. It was showed that social media tools should be needed for supporting the development of libraries. Therefore, developing the social media policies are important. It could help the libraries to be developed continuously with the contents and archives being protected.

This article was aimed to report how successful of developing the social media policies at the State Library of Queensland, Queensland State Archives and Queensland Museum. The author would like to use these organizations' experiences for encouraging more librarians and other practitioners to develop their own social media policies. It could help to maintain the secuity of information and increase the interactions between the organizations and users that the social media is the good communication tools for them.

This journal was investigated that the use of social media tools on promoting the library activities and the challenges which the library would face when using these tools. In the investigation, there were more than half of the libraries had been using the social media tools for giving the services to the users. However, the libraries didn't have the policies to clarify their responsibilities. It showed that social media policies could help to solve the problems they face.
