CrashCourse is a YouTube Channel where they are constantly uploading interesting videos packed full of facts for world history, US history, literature, chemistry, ecology, and biology!

This is the History Channel website.  It has a lot of fun facts, games, and videos to engage the students.  I would caution them to check the historical accuracy for some of the website's videos though.  

This site has good pictures and videos for students to check out. There are activities, current event discussion, and a video gallery.

This website has many videos which cover different lessons in many subject areas, including math. The videos are free to view.

Outstanding website with videos that cover many subject areas in great detail. These videos are a great lesson as is but could also be a great addition to an existing lesson lesson.

Lesson plans/Activities/Videos

This site is really interesting because it is a blogging website that is maintained through a high school teacher and her students. There is also a contact email if teachers were interested in getting permission to allow their students to blog about anything biology related. This would be a great way to incorporate technology into the classroom while allowing students to learn from videos, podcasts, and articles created by other students from around the United States.

This interactive site provides images, videos, and articles relating to the most current, and controversial topics in Science. This is a great tool to make the material relevant to the real-world.

This would be a good resource to introduce to your AP students or to students that are thinking about taking AP classes. This website has many resources for students including videos and blogs by students that have enrolled and completed AP courses in high school that explain what it takes to be successful in an AP class and on the AP exam. There is also links that help a student understand how AP courses in high school can help with college and what college majors and careers can AP courses help the student with. There is a link for practice questions for all AP courses, including multiple choice and free response, at the bottom of the page. 

This fun and hilarious site has EVERYTHING you need for making grammar instruction interactive and enjoyable: terms, handouts, presentations, exercises/games, YouTube videos, and tip and rules!!!

This site is sponsored by Northern Illinois University and is a primary source material for one of America's most celebrated Presidents.  It has text, images, videos and interactive features as well.  

This is the Military Channel website which is similar to the History.com site.  This site however specializes in military history.  This site has a lot of information of international military technology and videos.
