This site provides peer-edited lessons accompanying peer-reviewed articles. Each lesson has questions related specifically to the artile and multiple acitivites to engage students. The articles also summarize important facts on the left side (Similar to cornell notes).
This site is really interesting because it is a blogging website that is maintained through a high school teacher and her students. There is also a contact email if teachers were interested in getting permission to allow their students to blog about anything biology related. This would be a great way to incorporate technology into the classroom while allowing students to learn from videos, podcasts, and articles created by other students from around the United States.
This interactive site provides images, videos, and articles relating to the most current, and controversial topics in Science. This is a great tool to make the material relevant to the real-world.
This article has a link for a digital microscope. This is a low-cost, technology tool for science teachers. It allows the same magnifications and capabilities as an optical microscope, but the images can be imported into microsoft word and PowerPoint. Also, this tool allows for real-time and time-lapse movies... a great tool!
This article lists, and provides links, to the top 50 most commonly used technology tools for all classroom teachers. It includes a list of learning tech tools (i.e. quizlet) and social learning tools (i.e. Edmodo). Very easy in navigating the article.

TIME has all of the latest news articles. Almost everything that is printed in the magazine is also available online. It's a great tool to get students excited about reading the news.
