These templates are from the New York City School Library System. The site has not only a unit planning template but also an annotated unit plan template. This site is not only good for having a strong template but also helps one create a plan step by step.

The site I found was a great site because it helps give templates not only for daily but, also for weekly and hourly. I have found that having a template helps me narrow down the content I am to teach my students.

I think this website is very effective for lesson plan templates because of all of the variety it offers: daily, single subject, multiple subject, multiple class, etc.

These are all available lesson plan templates. There are eight daily templates with some being in pdf form and other as words documents so that you can type the lesson plans out and then print or send them if needed. 

This template is great for elementary teachers that lesson plan daily. The following template is set up with all subject areas. Also, includes a decent area to add in notes.

The Vertex 42 website offers many different weekly printable lesson plan templates with up to 8 class periods. 

This unit lesson is from the west Virginia Department of Education. The templates are standards-focused and require teachers to plan instructional design. The two links are excellent as to the first link brings you to a description of what should be in each box and explains what it means. The second link is a blank template that comes as a word document so you may type and print it out.

This site needs you to become a user but if you find yourself wanting unit lesson plan template then this site is for you. It breaks down the unit plan in a way that can be easily edited and used in the classroom. Alone on the homepage there are four templates for the units.

I find this template a much easier way to stay organized! It is designed for an entire unit, but includes a brief area to brainstorm ideas, key terms, questions to ask the students, and main concepts! It's almost like a pre-write lesson plan so you don't forget anything since it's a unit.

Easliy accessible weekly lesson plan template! I personally like it because it's adaptable to many grade levels just needs modifying of the standards to use over again!

This is a simple, yet detailed lesson plan template. I enjoy this template though because it includes additional columns for modifications for students. An example of this would be gifted and special needs students.

This Curriculum Central website offers two downloadable and printable daily lesson plan templates (one horizontal, one vertical) and two weekly ones. 

This template is helpful when you are keeping track of all the common core standards used within each lesson!

This lesson plan can be used at any grade level but it seems that it would suit the needed of a middle school to high school teacher. Weekly lesson plan seems to let the teacher know he main topic of the lesson for each class period and it is nice to have so you know what lesson plan to look at. 

This template is credible and backed up by the university of Chicago which is handy because you know how relevant it is to teaching students
