This in an interesting study about newsletters and usability issues on a mobile platform, that came to me via some of my Linkedin contacts. I have been responsible for the office newsletter in several workplaces and making the newsletter accessible via mobile phones is definitely something to think about especially as more companies are providing smartphones for employees.

Guess what? According to this article, "among CEOs of the world's Fortune 500 companies, a mere 20 have Twitter accounts." Interesting article about the increasing blend of work life and personal life. I'm not sure if I'd advocate adding a friend on Facebook - while I can control my own posts I'm not sure I can trust that I'd be able to manage my Facebook in a way that would absolutely ensure a manager wouldn't see an undesirable post from someone else before I had time to delete it.

Interesting how use of social media is becoming less frowned upon in the work environment especially in the fields of marketing, PR, customer service etc. What are your social media habits in the workplace?
