Maze solving algorithm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 1 views

  • mazes, is also known as either the left-hand rule or the right-hand rule. If the maze is simply connected, that is, all its walls are connected together or to the maze's outer boundary, then by keeping one hand in contact with one wall of the maze the player is guaranteed not to get lost and will reach a different exit if there is one; otherwise, he or she will return to the entrance.

    has good techniques

this would work really well but it might take more than 60 sec

NXT Forklift - 6 views

  •
this is a great idea because it is effective and we can use fishing line in place of the string. Our fork lift would have to be wider though.

Weight and Size - 0 views

You should add as much weigth as possible to make flpping harder. This will also give the robot more momentum. Also, a wider robot which is low to the ground is extrememly hard to overturn.

This is like a calculator you insert the gear it gives you the ratio
  •
this is very useful in helping us decide which gears to use and what ratio to set them at
  •
This might be the key thing for gear ratios

Intro to Gears - 1 views

  • First....What is torque?: Torque is a twisting force- (it doesn't do any 'work' itself- it is simple an application of energy). Work (or 'stuff') happens, when torque is applied and movement occurs.
