This is an awesome YouTube channel by Sylvia Duckworth. I would use her Chansons au Powerpoint to pre-teach vocabulary and then reinforce the learning with the music/PowerPoint combination.  Other videos offer a plethora of topics that can be used in your classroom.  Her use of GoAnimate inspires me to have my students create similar projects to tell stories.

An amazing language learning site which helps learners of MFL remember words for over 200 languages by associating them with visual clues/mnemonics and score points by showing you remember the language in a variety of ways. You can listen to audio of the words you are learning. Hilarious and wordless except for Donald who says a few hardly understandable words: so there are no real subtitles, and the cartoon could be used for retelling activities in various languages.

Infographic about the speed of languages, that is: how fast languages are spoken. Why do some languages sound like they're going by so fast, whereas others seem more slow and pronounced? A study was performed to find out why this is, and, it's more about the language density rather than the actual syllables per second. Slower languages tend to have a much higher information density, and the faster languages have less information transmitted per syllable; so it all evens itself out.
