Hi Merryn, It looks like the last letter of the url (web address) is missing on the link. Are you able to hop back into Diigo and fix it up? I'm think many people will find this site of great use especially as the implementation date of the Nat'l Curriculum creeps closer. Drop us an email when you've made the edit, thanks!
Hi Merryn,
Not sure what's happening at your end, I can see your bookmark fine. In situations like yours, I try refresh then jump out of the site and browser then back in just to see if it clears things. Hope that helps.
Jeff Utecht's blog entry about a novel way to teach students search skills.
Give students and start and end point. Eg. 3rd Grade - give students: Rocks and Volcanoes. Start with Rocks and create a search story that gets them to end the search story with how Rocks and Volcanoes are related.
Google's created a series of lessons to help you guide your students to use search meaningfully in their schoolwork and beyond. Search Literacy lessons are broken down based on level of expertise in search: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
I found this on Google using a search like this: research vic.edu.au and hit enter. Very powerful and ensures that only relevant sites come up in google without all the unnecessary ones. Really fine tunes the search.
Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan events or collect and organise things they like that relate to different topics.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.

Links to reputable sites useful for all levels of education. There are just so many links here (try under curriculum or resources) and the websites are also given annotations which help to determine their suitability. This is Gold!
A nice introductory article on adding something more than basic to the ubiquitous Google search. Seems to be a timely article with this weeks ResearchToolkit assignment
