This short film uses the words from Tim Crabbe's classic novel about road cycling. "The Rider" is probably the greatest book ever written about cycling racing and gives a unique insight into the mindset of bike racers. It is dark in character and focuses on one aspect of a winning bike racers psychology. Not necessarily nice or pleasent but without it, a bike racer will never reach their potential.
