Transplantation has always played a crucial role in the history of healthcare, by saving millions of lives. Though the world is populated almost by 7.8 billion, there will be always scarcity for the donated organs.

I recently attended a team building program in Chicago. 130 participants from a major financial lending institution came together to take part in a team building activity to help build teamwork, relieve stress, and give back to the community. I was overwhelmed by the amount of energy and excitement that took over the room when they learned that the bikes they were about to build were going to be donated to underprivileged kids from the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

We, a young, dynamic and public-spirited team of activists at Happiness Ville, are constantly brainstorming ideas and ways to bring about the change we always talk about and hardly put into action. Our aim is to eradicate the 'mal' out of malnutrition, 'ill' out of the illiteracy, 'in' out of the injustice and the 'issues' out of the environment.
