Another great blog entry on a new art site. Also includes some ideas on how to use the tool in the classroom. Creates some pretty cool abstract art, and very easy to save/download. Would work well on a SMARTBoard

A fantastic collection of web-based math resources. Has a mini review for each site. 

Here is a great review of a new PBS website which allows you to create a habitat based on the needs to a fictional  character. Once the students have finished creating the habitat, they could download it as a JPEG. Has some great tips on ways it could be useful in the classroom, too!

This is a neat website that lets students track missions as they are happening with the satellites that are collecting information about the Earth from space.  Students can learn about the earth by choosing a mission to follow, zoom in and out of the globe, view satellite paths, view city and location labels on the map, replace the sun with an "artificial light" and see the view from Earth's surface.  As students click on the satellite, they will be able to view and discover more information about the mission.  Students can choose to view the 3D Earth in real-time or speed up/slow down the Earth with a time control.

Great website which has recently been revamped. Has some innovative ways of integrating ICLT in the classroom.

Hi Steve Nice one, I like the monthly archive and obviously the writer has a bit of a languages focus. A nice box of tricks.

A great video to introduce K-2 to certain aspects of Internet Safety. The video makes some comparisons between the real world, and the online world, and at the end sets some rules to follow. Worth a look.
