NREPP is a searchable database of interventions for the prevention and treatment of mental and substance use disorders. SAMHSA has developed this resource to help people, agencies, and organizations implement and disseminate programs and practices in their communities. NREPP is one way that SAMHSA is working to improve access to information on tested interventions and thereby reduce the lag time between the creation of scientific knowledge and its practical application in the field.

Extensive library of tools and resources about dental therapy. Dental therapists are mid-level practitioners (think PA) who can provide dental services to under resourced populations. It is especially relevant to rural areas. Much of the work was led by tribal groups in Alaska who had a desperate need for dental care. The American Dental Association fought hard against this program - seeing it as a threat to their profession - but without providing any reasonable solution to the rural dental health desert. I attended this congressional hearing and it was HEATED. Senator Al Franken called out the ADA, which I can say was quite satisfying. Good example of a structural intervention.

The CJ Foundation for SIDS is a national charitable organization dedicated to recognizing the special needs of the SIDS community through funding SIDS research, support services and public awareness programs.The Foundation hopes to increase public awareness of SIDS and to contribute to a future in which no parent is faced with the tragedy of losing a loved one to SIDS. Producer of the successful "Back to Sleep Campaign" that has successfully reduced SIDS in minority communities.

NACCHO is the national organization representing local health departments.
