This site has a variety of uses for educators, librarians, and students. There is a a variety of fiction and nonfiction leveled books in all subject areas with quizzes that can check for comprehension. You can also create your own book and publish it using the 7,000+ images.

PAEC E-Learning Workshops allow educators to have professional development opportunities online. You can view streaming videos for free and collaborate with other teachers!

On-line poetry form that can be used easily by students. They simply fill in the information, choose the poem form and viola! Great way to enhance poetry with your students in the classroom

Create a map of your favorite places, travels or destinations. Public, private, or community maps are available to make. I could see using this site in a variety of ways. It could be used as a beginning of the year "Get-to-know-you" activity. It could also be used to focus in on a specific geographical area in a Social Studies or Geography unit.

This is a fun online timeline creator, which can be shared with others online. A valid email is needed to create a timeline, but that could be set up by the teacher or LMS. It's very visual in learning about time.

This site allows you to preview books. It is free to register. You can search by author, illustrator, subject, or genre. You can also browse new and highly rated books. This site would be great for librarians or teachers wanting to check out book before buying them!

This interactive web site combines Google Search with Google Maps to create truly interest-grabbing Scavenger Hunts called TerraClues. You can access lots of already-made hunts that involve your current curriculum, or you have the ability to create your own TerraClues to fit your particular classroom needs. Students learn about maps, curriculum content, and how to use a search engine.

This site lists resources that answer your questions about technology. It gives the website to go to for just about everything you would need/want to do.

This site allows you to make a timeline.

This site allows a person to submit a written piece to be edited for grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. by a team of professional writers. This would be a great site for anyone anytime including the classroom.

This site captures history in numerous ways, videos, posters, photographs, historical documents, and more. What they are calling "digital vaults." However, this site goes much further than that... You can create your own posters or movies and many more creative historical items. They provide numerous photos, videos, and other things needed to create these items. You can also upload your own from your computer. There are lesson plans provided for educators using these resources.

This site is a great communication tool for teachers and their students. I think it could also just be used by teacher to collaborate and communicate.

Kid friendly on line tool for creating graphs of all kinds. It includes a tutorial, tools, graphing, and various ways to understand graphing in a kid friendly format

This site allows you to easily create Bar, Line, Area, Pie, and XY graphs. When completed the graphs can then either be printed or saved. This site would work much better than excel for many simple student graphs, because of the complexities that excel sometimes leads to.

When I found this website I was so excited! This website makes creating a graph SUPER easy! Whether you teach Math or Science, this is a great website to use for graphing. The students are still responsible to collecting the data and knowing where to put the information. All they have to do is choose the type of graph they want, type in the data, and then the graph is created!

MLA Citation Maker - easy on-line tool that leads students step by step in how to cite resources. This is a handy tool that helps students remember how to do citations accurately.

This site is a kid-safe search engine that is powered by google. It combines the google safe search with their own restricted elements. It also allows teachers to remove sites if desired. Great for elementary research projects.
