Thinkbinder - 0 views

  •
Thinkbinder is an only group study collaboration tool. I think this would be a great way for students to find information from and for each other, ask similar questions, and be engaged in each others learning. This would be a great tool to use in the classroom and have as an optional tool or even an assignment that teaches collaboration.

Lilianna, You made my day by sharing this site. First, my husband will love this. He is always looking for how to videos on youtube. I now have it added to my Favorites Bar for him. Second, there was an older gentlemen that was talking to me about computers. He feels they are our enemy and there is no good to them. We share the pros and cons of technology and computers, and I told him about how my husband looks up how to fix things all the time on youtube. He then explained that that is one reason why businesses are closing up. I do agree with his philosophy in some sorts, but it is the way of the world and we need to change with it.

Change the Subject: Making the Case for Project-Based Learning | Edutopia - 0 views

  •
For the innovation economy, dispositions come into play: readiness to collaborate, attention to multiple perspectives, initiative, persistence, and curiosity. While the content of any learning experience is important, the particular content is irrelevant. What really matters is how students react to it, shape it, or apply it. The purpose of learning in this century is not simply to recite inert knowledge, but, rather, to transform it.1 It is time to change the subject.

Create A Graph - 0 views

  •
This enables kids to create many different kinds of digital graphs and charts. They can enter the parameters and any number of data points (though I'm sure there's a limit at some point). Unfortunately, it is not a co-creation tool, as the most sharing/collaborating that can be done is to email the finished graph to someone. It is, however, a nice tool to use individually.
