Apple introduced a new great feature in OS X Lion called AirDrop. Using AirDrop feature you can share files between supported Macs wirelessly even you are not connected to a wireless network.

Dropbox, the app we all (at least many of us) know and love, has a plethora of advanced uses to make life so much easier in managing data between multiple computers and online. While the Common Core State Standards share many features and concepts with existing standards, the new standards also represent a substantial departure from current practice in a number of respects. Here are nine important differences:

Personal experience of rolling out a cart of 30 iPads in a shared high school environment. 

Joan L. Green, a speech-language pathologist in Potomac and the author of "The Ultimate Guide to Assistive Technology in Special Education," shares some of her favorite iPad apps for kids with special needs. These are the most expensive versions of the apps because they have the most options for individualizing them to a child's particular needs. In some cases, there are less expensive versions. These apps cost far more than most, but they are cheaper than traditional communication systems and equipment that parents of kids with special needs may have bought in the past.

As part of Search Education, Google has shared a bunch of lesson plans that are organized by degree of difficulty. So, if you consider yourself and / or your students Google experts, you should try out the more advanced plans. Dropbox is a very useful tool to store online files, sync your computers and mobile devices and share files.  With all those capabilities it makes it a natural tool for educators!

Twitter is a powerful communication tool. It is also a great way for educators to connect & share resources and best practices. It's Google Doc is a great overview of Twitter's value for educators...
