Understanding Projects in Project-based Learning: A Student's Perspective - 0 views

  •
Project-based learning offers promise as an instructional method that affords authentic learning tasks grounded in the personal interests of learners. While previous research has presented results of learning gains, motivations and teacher experiences, still limited empirical research has presented the student perspective in project-based learning. This research sought to explore how learners created projects. Using a case study design and five purposively selected participants from eighth grade geography, five themes emerged: (1) internal influences, (2) external influences, (3) beliefs about projects, (4) tools for technology-rich environments, and (5) learning outcomes and products. The first four themes describe influences to shape the fifth theme, learning products. The term learning products was used to describe both the learning garnered by the participants and the learning artifacts the participants produced as part of the instructional unit. Implications for practice and future research are considered.

Men in India love to dress up in the traditional vesture for special occasions. One similar occasion that most men look out for is Eid. Eid naturally calls for the traditional Afghani wear of the Afghani Pathani suit. It's also a regular source of wear and tear for numerous men. The sophisticated outfit is available in colorful colors, patterns, and creative cuts and fabrics. The suit can also have stretched thread work or a tone-on-tone design on it. But how does one find a perfect Pathani suit for them? With a wide range of variety available online as well as offline, it can be relatively confusing to elect the right bone . Take a look below to know the specifications you should take care of while buying a new Pathani suit. 1. Colour The traditional black suit with golden embroidery is the classic and stylish option to start with. Look out for colours that congratulate your personality and style. 2. Fabric Traditionally men wore suits made of cotton fabric, still now they prefer more bold colours in silk or other admixture of fabrics. For a jubilee like Eid, you can go for a combination of silk and satin for a rich look. 3. Collar and cuts The collars can differ according to your preference. Standing or Chinese collar are seen to be the most popular among men. You can find variations such as a chain attached to the collar or embellishments.
