Zoho offers a suite of online web applications geared towards increasing your productivity and offering easy collaboration. Zoho's online office tools include a word processor, spreadsheet application, presentation tool, hosted wiki, notebook, CRM, Database software, etc. I have used it for some of the database applications. They also have a Project Management tool. The collaboration tools could also be used by members of a project team to share documents and to work together on projects. This is an open source project management tool which is comparable to Microsoft Project. It's a desktop application and it generates different charts such as Gantt chart, WBS, and networking. It also generates reports.

There is a huge variety of project management applications out there. Most are general purpose apps, not aimed at any one industry. But there are a growing number of project management apps aimed specifically at one industry or another. Applications geared toward creative types are becoming more readily available, and some of the offerings are really quite good.

This is a task management web application based on agile methodology. It has a great visual and clean user interface which makes it easy for anyone to understand and use. The features of Trello are easy to use, such as the drag and drop of tasks/cards. This can be easily used for agile requirements gathering as well.

And it's Free! I like the clean look of the software. I might give this a go for my upcoming move. Thanks for posting.

I'ts great to have all of these in one place. It allows you to compare them together. Two I have looked at for use in Education are ZOHO and Huddle.

Jennifer, I posted a tool very similar. I really love mind mapping and think it has huge benefits in the area of project management. It is nice when multiple people can work on the same visual. These maps help you to organized your ideas and see potential problems. Both huge things in Project Management.

This site has 3 prerecorded webinars on Project Management that address the building blocks, practical examples and applying PM principles to your workplace. Although geared toward library application, the PM skills addressed can be adapted and serve as a good refresher, introduction to or continuing education. This site is hosted by the Colorado Dept of Education and the Colorado State Library, which lends reliability to the content. The webinars are FREE and always accessible, and you can download the slides in Powerpoint or as a handout, which is great for note taking.
