I would have never guessed it but there is an Informant award for whistlblowers!

If we were to have people in Congress who could work together and stop worrying about themselves so much, and how it would change their image if they actually (oh my!) compromised on something, then maybe more would be getting done on fixing the country's financial crisis. I felt this article fit in well with this week's discussion question.

I like how this article states that this bank is pointing out that there usually are those same charges as their customers are now seeing, it's just that they decided not to hide them anymore. I see that as an ethical decision being made.

Generosity leads to suspicion?!

Everyone is asking the same questions: Have we hit bottom yet? When will the recession end? When will things go back to the way they were? As a chief executive, I'm as eager as anyone to put the recession into the past. A growing economy benefits everyone.

Everyone wants a fast recovery to get things back to normal within our economy. However, we must learn from this huge disaster which could mean staying in thh economic mess a little longer so we do not repeat this blunder again.

Americans are having a tough time supporting themselves and their famlies on minimum wage. Problem is America needs to create more jobs for the unemployed and also help those that are employed that are barely getting by.

I would also suggest American's not being "too good" for tough, dirty and lower end jobs. I think there are jobs out there, but American's don't want to do them. Who does? Immigrants that want to get out of their country or plan on sending the money back home.

This talks about all the fringe benefits that politicians get, I know every job has its perks, but I think their needs to be limits

The internet is comprised social media that could be detrimental to our youth as well as misleading information that cannot be seen as reliable. Media organizations are revising and reissuing ethical codes to address most of these problems.
