I think that whenever a well is dug or drilled, especially for oil, then calculations need to be checked, double checked, triple checked, and maybe even quadruple checked before any "earth" is moved.

I get news updates on my phone, and I saw an article about the possibility of Bieber being the father of a fan's child. I'm glad he is taking the DNA test, but the main point of me posting this article is that Bieber is an idol for younger kids today. If it turns out he did father a child at 16, he will be letting down many fans. And a butterfly effect could happen where all of a sudden the tweens and teens that are his biggest fans may start thinking that engaging in sexual activity when they are young is ok. If Bieber can do it, why can't they? By the way, I'm using the "tag" for this article loosely!

This doesn't say it outright, but someone finding, and sharing, products like this will make some doctors angry. I think it's good for the average person who can't afford to go in for professionals to make them look better though.

I suppose I'm a little biased when it comes to the Invisible Children, but I truly believe Obama made the right decision in trying to help free the child soldiers from Joseph Kony by sending in troops to help form a plan to capture Kony. I know there are many people who are outraged and flabbergasted as to why our country is doing this, but I think a large part of that is because they don't fully understand everything that's going on. I think this is a good article concerning the health and safety of society. Mark Hyman is doing his duty as an author to help inform people about vitamins, which can be a confusing topic.

This article may not specifically talk about ethical issues. However, it is an example of a little thought I had. What if more ethical issues were taught/enforced in the work place? If people are learning the need to be ethical while they're at work around 8 hours a day, perhaps some of that will spill over into their every day lives and we may see less stories such as this. All be it in China. America has firms in China as well. We could be setting an example over there.

This is a video that talks about the news release of Obama deploying 100 US troops to Central Africa to help find and bring Joseph Kony (a man who has engaged Central Africa in war for 26 years, has killed hundreds of thousands, and kidnaps children and forces them to fight in his army) to justice. This group has come together because three guys saw a moral and ethical problem and wanted to do what they could to change it. 

I like how this article states that this bank is pointing out that there usually are those same charges as their customers are now seeing, it's just that they decided not to hide them anymore. I see that as an ethical decision being made.

If we were to have people in Congress who could work together and stop worrying about themselves so much, and how it would change their image if they actually (oh my!) compromised on something, then maybe more would be getting done on fixing the country's financial crisis.
