KARACHI: The dispute between Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Airline Pilots Association (PALPA) entered seventh day on Wednesday, as scheduled flights continued to face long delays in departure, Samaa reported. According to Samaa correspondent, Lahore-Karachi (PK-315), Sukkur-Karachi (PK-541), Madina-Karachi (PK-747) and Abu Dhabi-Lahore (PK-268) were delayed.
ISLAMABAD: Ongoing dispute between pilots and national flag carrier continued as Pakistan Airline Pilots' Association (PALPA) Saturday refused to hold talks with management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Samaa reported. Prime Minister's advisor on aviation Shujaat Azeem had summoned management of PIA and PALPA representatives in Islamabad in a bid to end dispute.
TEHRAN: The first bodies of Iranians killed in a deadly stampede at the Hajj arrived home from Saudi Arabia on Saturday, after a controversial nine-day delay and questions over the final death toll.
