Cristin Lind couldn’t find the words, so she drew a picture. Sue Buswell is one of nine registered nurses who work for the Helena School District and was recently named the Montana School Nurse of the Year by the Montana Association of School Nurses.

Buswell describes her job as a provider of seamless transitions for students with acute and chronic health conditions into the school setting. She coordinates a team approach that includes family, school personnel, health care providers and the community.

Deaf actress Marlee Matlin is exploring an idea for a unique reality TV show: It’s called “My Deaf Family” and it’s about growing up with deaf parents. Matlin created a pilot for the series and made it available for free on YouTube. The show depicts the challenges of having parents with disabilities, but not having those disabilities yourself.
