This source provides a method for the bottom-up approach to AI, which is letting the computer learn like an infant instead of teaching it how to respond to certain cases. Cognitive computing will most likely be mentioned in our project when we talk about the technological singularity. This article is trustworthy because it is written by IBM, one of the world innovators in technology and computing.

I found this source when looking for information on the "technological singularity" predicted to come by many of Kaku's interviewees. It is difficult to find legitimate sources on this topic, but I think this one is going to be helpful. The link is not to any of their specific articles, but there are many to be explored. I recommend at least skimming some of these articles, as they will give us a more specific idea of how such a singularity would happen.

I feel this goes quite well with what we have been looking at for main topics. One part that I found particularly interesting was the medical section where the hologram and glass room was used. I feel that this video would be a good insight into future touch technology, computing in the medical field and augmented reality in the small girls field trip.

Touchscreen technology will expand beyond fingertips, evolving to incorporate artificial intelligence, light and even sound.This year's Computer Human Interface conference featured several new touchscreen inventions, as over 2,500 international researchers presented their work in Austin, Texas. Scientists and inventors showcased everything from medical to social networking and gaming-related touchscreen technologies, touching on a variety of intriguing directions that interfaces will take in the future.

This source is useful because it goes with the prediction that we could have computing devices in everything. I will use this site to learn more about touch screen technology being integrated into all parts of our everyday lives. This source is reliable because it is similar to other predictions about future technology of the computer.

"Engineers at the University of Florida (USA) have created a housing that incorporates a tiny microchip and antenna and, after administration, warns that a patient has taken his medicine. According to Rizwan Bashirullah, creator of the invention, the smart pill could be very useful in patients who forget if you have taken medication, or just clueless and do not take it daily. The pill consists of a capsule containing a microchip and an antenna that is printed on its surface using non-toxic ink of silver nanoparticles . The antenna is biocompatible and dissolves almost 100%. When the pill is swallowed, the microchip is communicated to a small external electronic device (which could be incorporated into future mobile phone), which in turn sends a message to a phone or a computer, informing both the patient and the doctors and family members if necessary. According to the American Heart Association, the main problem in treating illness today is that no medical requirements are met . Recent studies show that chronically ill patients only take half of the pills prescribed . And that 10% of hospital admissions due to this lack of consistency. Even 218,000 deaths annually are attributed to this problem. "Using technology to remedy may be a good idea," says Bashirullah."
