Photography is Art Is photography an art? A debate on this has been going on for many years. Despite the numerous arguments by naysayers, pickmytemplates believes that photography is a form of art. By the way, what is art? It is an expression of creativity and imagination, applied into various beautiful forms such as sculptures, paintings, dance, music to invoke an emotive pleasurable experience. And photography does the same by speaking to its audiences and viewers through its stunning images. When the silence met with space Sometimes words cannot describe what we see. Silence speaks and words can't. The beauty and serenity of nature is vastly appreciated by photographers worldwide. They religiously capture these mesmerizing moment of golden silence where there is no sound of cars, wind, bark, planes etc. And in this moment of tranquility, photographers unconsciously become more aware of the power of nature because of the absolute stillness and quietness. It is as if nature is speaking to them.

Fashion Photography: A Sheer Pleasure to Look At There are some people who has the misconception that fashion photography is just about shooting gorgeous people in beautiful clothes in stylish poses. That is because the majority of us were overfed by the glam images we have seen in fashion magazines, advertisements, editorials, campaigns, billboards, banners and many more. Pampered by these nice and professionally taken pictures for generations, how many people pay attention to the masters behind these great images?

A Little Incite In The Life Of A Bumblebee. I found this bumblebee first on one of the sunflowers. It just was not moving the way many of the bees I photograph move. So I touch the little guy and found out he was just to cold. So, instead of picking him up with my bare hands I took one of the leaf stalks the mastiffs chewed on and moved this bumblebee over to the pond, and the nice warm rocks that had been warmed by the sun. Within no time this big bumblebee was buzzing and soon took off. These are the photographs of that experience.

Red Winged Black Bird Stopped By. Actually our place has been a hot spot lately with the sunflower seeds ripe and the pond to drink from. The small apples are even ripe for the picking.

Nature can be not so nice. Animals have to eat, this is just the way it is. Birds of prey are a favorite of mine to capture with my camera. I like to get them hunting and when I get a chance, to get them eating. I chose only ten photographs to show, from when I first seen this red tailed hawk eating, to when he flew off. It was not easy to pick out only ten photographs!! He/she even gave me the evil eye a time or two! When Guy asked me if I wanted to go somewhere I was up and getting ready!

We were up in the Malheur National Forest last Saturday and got a couple photographs. Guy had planned to go to a spot for photographs where we would hike around. This was the first trip in our dodge ram we just picked up. Our chevy suburban is no longer and we like the Ram truck, but we really loved the suburban and of course it was paid off. WOW did things not go as planned!
