Actually the use of the ISO is not a 'rule' actual of photography, but mostly it was a lot of discussion on of photography tutorial, that we avoid as much as possible NOISE and GRAIN on the results of our photos using ISO setting as low as possible in any lighting conditions when shooting. Use a low ISO will give the images a smooth, clean and sharp as the lighting conditions when shooting course. There are certain times in which to raise the maximum ISO setting could create some interesting photo effects, but on the other side of many of the training course on us as much as possible to use a low ISO. GRAIN or photo noise can give the feel of the sand and crude quality, and for most people it can present a different mood to the picture. It could be said that in the current era of digital of photography will be more difficult due to the efforts of digital camera vendors and try to reduce the NOISE GRAIN better when using high ISO settings. This is easily done when the film camera era, which is the film with a high ISO will result in shades of sand or Grain naturally beautiful. Another way to get GRAIN on the photographs captured using a low ISO setting, is to use software like GIMP or Photoshop, but somehow we'll be more fun to get the effect GRAIN when shooting with the camera.

Sunset In The High Desert. Sometimes we do get home late from our outings.

Our day yesterday was a lot of fun! The weather was ok , the highs in the 40's the lows in the 20's. According to our trucks outside weather gauge. It rained, it hailed and it snowed. So you can imagine blue skies were hard to find. Wildlife was not hard to find, like most days. They still need to eat regardless of the weather. We climbed down into the canyon to watch three bald eagles fish and do what they do. We climbed out back onto the road and seen a golden eagle in a tree. He took off as we watched him go further up into the canyon another pair of bald eagle came out of no where and started attacking the golden eagle in mid flight. It is said the Bald Eagle soars at 35-43 mph. We watched this and got in the truck to go where the action was. We seen the bald eagles attacking for a little bit when the golden eagle went up high, and started attacking the bald eagles one at a time!

One thing about wildlife, they still have to get out in the weather and do their thing. Saturday we got snowed on. Wildlife was still doing their thing. Here are some of the mule deer photographs. Now the buck did not run, but he did not think it wise to stick around either. I am very happy that my canon camera has a nice body for this extreme weather!! My poor camera!! It gets rained on, snowed on, than we have the other extremes of high, dry temperatures here in the high desert.

Never photographing these before. I was quite happy to find these high up in the Ochoco Mountains of Oregon. We found a area of wildflowers blooming and stopping to photograph all the wildflowers in that spot, then thought we should head up to the higher elevation and did so on a narrow dirt road until we came to melting snow. This is where these were blooming along with some other wildflowers. Noticing a lot of elk and it looked like the horses use the area as a resting place. Wild horses in the Ochoco Mountains is a common thing. Such impressive flowers!
