    Using their Street View technology, Google brings the world to life on a computer screen. Anyone with internet access can now explore geological and historical locations from their computer. Explore locations from the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, Antarctica, and the Great Barrier. With over 50 places you can virtually venture through, The World Wonders Project is a wonder in itself. Teachers can take their students on virtual fieldtrips to learn about geology, history, and the like in the world around them.

    Using Kaltura is similar to creating a google doc or making a wiki. Students can collaborate on one project from multiple computers simultaneously.     ZType is a fun typing game that challenges players to type quickly. Words fall from the top of the screen and you have to type them. When you have correctly typed a word your laser shoots it. The object of the game is to shoot the words before they reach the bottom of the screen. ZType is a good tool for students who need to improve their typing abilities. Students entering Patrick Taylor who didn't have a lot of computer access prior to attending will particularly gain from this game because typing is a necessary skill here.
