Math Graphs - 0 views

  •
This site was very helpful for me in my Math class. It helped me remember which type of graph was which. Even though it wasn't the most interesting looking website to read through, it helped me remember all the functions and equations that go along with them.

Brain Anatomy | Mayfield Clinic - 0 views

Brain Anatomy info, anatomy of the human brain complete with illustrations and references.

The main purpose of this article is to help the reader understand more about what the parts of the brain are and what functions they control. The website talks briefly about the different lobes of the brain, the glands, the nerves, fluids, blood supply to the brain, and cells. Many sources and links to other helpful articles are located at the bottom of the article. I would recommend this source to someone who is deeply interested in finding out more about brain anatomy. I can use this source to take notes on the anatomy of the brain and learn about what each section of the brain functions.

JavaScript Tutorial - 0 views

  •
This is a site that I found when having trouble with JavaScript code. This site is incredibly helpful to anyone having problems with JavaScript. I couldn't believe it when I found this many explanations and helpful guides on so many topics. The site covers most of the more advanced concepts of JavaScript, or if it does show simple code it explains its more complex applications. This site came in handy for many times in my Programming and Logic class when I was having trouble. I find the information on the site very reliable because when I fix my code according to its instructions it always solves the problem. I would recommend this site to anyone who has a grasp on the basics of JavaScript and wishes to expand their knowledge.

Wolves: A Wildlife Handbook - 0 views

  •
This book is very much a wildlife handbook. It is short and succinct. The section that was beneficial to my research about pack structure held very little new information, but one thing stood out. A paragraph talked about the size of a wolf pack, and how it is limited because if the pack is too large wolves can become distant from each other emotionally. Without strong emotional closeness among all wolves in the pack, a pack does not function properly. This was very helpful as it answered an important question I have been thinking about: why don't wolves just run in large herds and maximize the amount of food that they can hunt. A very good resource if even for that small amount of information.

Chromosomes - 0 views

This site talks all about chromosomes. Its point is to educate people more on how chromosomes work. This site has an index of all 23 chromosomes and what disorders each individual one can hold. It also has information on genes, and has many different diagrams on chromosomes. It also displays what each chromosome looks like, its genes, and different facts about it. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to learn more about how chromosomes carry genes. This site shows just how complicated genetic disorders are.

Brain (Human Anatomy): Picture, Function, Parts, Conditions, and More - 0 views

  •
This website gives a lot of information in an overview format of the brain and the nervous system, brain tests, and treatments. Also listed are a few brain conditions (ie. headaches, aneurysms, etc). At the bottom of the website are many other similar resources for further research. This is a reliable and useful source because upon checking the sources I found that the information is written by doctors. This source was very helpful in terms of hindering a basic understanding of the brain. The diagram is helpful in visualizing the different parts of the brain.

Hydrogen Bonds - 0 views

  •
Outlining polarity, attraction, bond types and products of these bonds, the article explains hydrogen bonds, concisely portraying everything in a fairly brief amount of text. This source was useful to get a better understanding of hydrogen bonds and how they function. The short summary with clear evidence made this a fairly useful source in comparison to other lengthy texts which portray the same message.
