This is the site where students can apply for financial aid. This site is very important if you are trying to pay for college. Hopefully most students will qualify for financial aid. This site will help you to apply but it can only be filled out after January 1st.

Brochure Health. - 0 views

  •
This site offers options right at the beginning from six brochures that are electronically published. Each brochure covers a different topic such as breast cancer, eye disease, heart diseases, diabetes, stroke, or even HIV-AIDS. Then by clicking on one, it brings up a electronic site of the brochure that has information leading to that topic. Overall, very recommendable.

College Board- Compare Colleges - 0 views

  •
Many people have heard about and used the College Board website to help with college prep. However, I thought I would share this one tidbit of a tool that is within College Board called "Compare Colleges." This is a tool that you plug in any three colleges and it will line their information up next to each other. This information includes; name, location, type (private/public), campus life (how many students, rural/suburban/city, size), admissions (selectivity, requirements, score ranges), and cost and aid. This was a great way to see the colleges I was interested in without having to pull the information from their separate websites.

VSAC Scholarships - 0 views

I used this site to find scholarships to apply for. They have a huge PDF file full of potential scholarships to apply for. I found 11 scholarships that I am going to apply for. It also gives you a list of deadlines for the scholarships as well as requirements. The site also helped my family and I understand the financial aid and FAFSA process a little better.

This site has a unique layout. It allows you to search for a college and look at it's statistics, look at its average financial aid package, and see application requirements for admission. This site was super helpful to me because I realized I couldn't apply to one of my colleges because I hadn't done all of the application requirements for that specific school.
  •
You can also compare three different colleges at once when searching for colleges, which is pretty nice because you can see how they stack up to each other.
  •
How is this one better than Collegeboard?
  •
The college board website has been very helpful throughout my exploration. The website lets you search colleges, and shows you only the important nuggets of information, without the hassle of combing though the colleges website.

SeaWorld Trainer Talks Blackfish and Captivity - 0 views

  •
This video is truly exceptional. This video really helped me to understand what actually happens behind the flips and tricks that the average customer of SeaWorld gets to see. This video gave me a deep comprehension of how the training and showcasing of these animals really helps the society to grow and educate themselves on how phenomenal and important these creatures really are. This video also showed me how important a marine mammal trainer's job is all about. This video is a must see if you're doing research on captivity, becoming a trainer, or the animals in general. Highly recommended.
