Kool Kidz is another organization that works with children with serious neuromuscular disorders. Their main focus is for kids to be able to function in their natural environment and acquire necessary everyday skills. I choose this because I like how they keep it natural and don't necessarily urge them to get to a sport level status, but just back to normal.

Movement Discoveries is a physical therapy center that offers specialized aquatic and yoga programs for children with general to serious injuries. They have infant programs as well as OT and speech centers to offer to the patients as needed. I like when clinics have many different specializations in one place making everything very convenient to the patient.

The American Physical Therapy Association has a separate section just for pediatrics. This website has multiple links to other pages that provide information about specialized treatments and equipment just for children. I am very interested in learning more about pediatrics and how things can be modified to children so this is very interesting.

The american association of intensive pediatric physical therapy specializes in children with neuromuscular disorders. Many of the clinics have specialized equipment for cerebral palsy patients that help in the rehabilitation of particular muscles effected by such harsh disorders. Their mission is to improve the quality of theses children's live through rehabilitation techniques which is exactly what I would love to be a part of one day. Nothing is better than helping a child in need, especially ones hurting in so many ways.

This website is informing current practitioners in what is going on at the research and clinical level in their fields. It tells about the studies currently going on as well as information from past ones that pertains to rehabilitation process and the best methods out there. This is very cool for me because things in the medical and health community change very often and it is nice to know where to go to get the best updates.

This is a great journal from athletic training that goes in to great detail as to how a diagnosis proceeds and what treatment follows. It is interesting to see the professional level and seriousness of each technique that is used in any injury to gather some glimpse of the steps I will need to go through hopefully one day.
