Perspective - Rules - 3 views

  • For practice using these elements of perspective, find a photo on the web or in the stock photos on your computer that uses one point perspective. Print the photo in B & W. Then, using a pencil or marker, draw lines on the photo to indicate the horizon line and orthogonals. Add a dot for the vanishing point.

Instead of printing out the image - place the photo in Adobe Illustrator and use the line tool to mark the horizon line and orthogonals. Use the elipse tool to mark the vanishing point. Work green and save a tree!

The web app is part chat, part email with a whole lot of collaborative possibilities for education. How it is going to be used is still being determined at this point. It's fun to use!
