Now we can see little research that has been directed at the management infrastructure for end-user computing (EUC) from an organization design perspective. A nonprofit organization in Pittsford has been given a grant from the Ronald McDonald House to buy 2 ipads. They are going to use these ipads to help kids who are developmentally challenged learn. They are going to focus on helping children whose motor and verbal skills make it hard for them to use other learning technologies. An ipad is portable and has numerous learning programs on it.

This article details results of a fundraising survey for 2010. The biggest finding is that online contributions are rising in 2010. This makes the process more important. It is unclear if the trend is strictly temporary. The increased awareness of events in conjunction with social media appears to be generating more donations. More data is needed to make a definitive assessment than this article provides.
