The Child Protection Society (CPS) was established in 1952 to promote the rights of children in Zimbabwe and protect them from cruelty, neglect and suffering. The Society has developed into one of the largest child rights organisations employing about 33 full time staff and managing three core departments.
The Joint Learning Initiative on Children and HIV/AIDS (JLICA) engages practitioners, policymakers, and scholars in collaborative problem-solving, research, and analysis to address the needs of children living in the context of HIV/AIDS. Its goal is to protect and fulfill the rights of children affected by HIV/AIDS by mobilizing the scientific evidence base and producing actionable recommendations for policy and practice.
Welfare for the Street Mothers and Children Organisation's (WeSMCO) mission is to create a conducive environment, in which the rights of destitute mothers and children are protected, respected and fulfilled.
