The Child Protection Society (CPS) was established in 1952 to promote the rights of children in Zimbabwe and protect them from cruelty, neglect and suffering. The Society has developed into one of the largest child rights organisations employing about 33 full time staff and managing three core departments.
Chiedza Child Care Centre is a community based organization located on five acres of land in Ardbennie. Its catchments areas are the crowded urban centres of Mbare, Sunningdale and Ardbennie/Prospect where it runs a community home based program for Orphaned and other Vulnerable Children (OVC).
