Design Thinking is a methodology that teaches children to creatively solve problems in their lives. We believe that creative confidence comes from repeated practice using a human-centered creative process to solve problem scenarios called design challenges. After using the process on these challenges, they will have another tool, the design thinking process, to apply towards solving real life problems. We hope you use this space to find and share resources to teach design thinking. This is still a working prototype, so feel free to explore and change.

Design Thinking is a mindset and methodology that centers around problem solving. Using Design Thinking in education creates curriculum that focuses on students going through a process to inquire, brainstorm, and create solutions to real interdisciplinary problems.

This site is devoted to teaching educators how to use podcasts and vodcasts to increase student achievement. This is the brainchild of Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams who are pioneers in the field of using vodcasts in the classroom. They have devised a new method of teaching called Pre-Vodcasting. In this model, students watch vodcasts at home and class time is spent in engaging hands-on activities and directed problem solving.

They would be the first group to try a different curriculum, test the facility's innovative educational technology and undergo a learning experience unlike that of previous generations. After four years, they are expected to graduate with the habits of mind-curiosity, skepticism, compassion, wonder-that will prepare them to be better physicians.
