      I am not so sure it is a disaster. Perhaps we all need more training.

      I never heard of this rule until I took this class. I have seen and made more than six slides for as long as PowerPoint has been around.

      I feel like my end presentation is using simplicity too much. Perhaps I am just used to slides with WAY too much information on them.

      Most presentations I have been in at least turn off half of the lighting in the room. I will have to make sure my promethean board is able to be read with all lights on.

      Agreed. I am ready to listen to presentations, but after a while I am day-dreaming, thinking about lunch, or wondering what needs to be done in the classroom. I must be engaged or I lose interest.

      I sure used to stick with the templates. I thought they were a good thing. I am slowly learning that this is NOT the case.

      I have been a sucker over the years to use generic clipart. I thought this was something we could do. Now I know we need to use human images to bring more personal aspects to the presentation.

      When creating a presentation, so not mix these fonts. The articles stated to stay with Helvetia and Arial with only two colors per slide.

      If I had a photo that contained white space on the edges, I usually put a border around it. I did not realize we were to keep the white space open in order to create "open space" needed in a presentation.
