H.E.B. plans to celebrate Earth Day on April 22 by giving away 150,000 of its reusable green shopping bags statewide and encouraging customers to use plastic recycling bins at its stores, according to a company news release. The grocer also plans to collect more than 750,000 plastic bags in one day for recycling.
