    Skype can be used in the classroom to collaborate with other classes, no matter where they are, find guest speakers and invite them into your classroom, and ake a virtual field trip anywhere in the world.

    Skype in the classroom is where teachers and Skype other classes with there students, have a guest speaker, as well as go on a virtual field trip. A virtual field trip is nice especially when it won't be cancelled due to bad weather like other field trips.

It has cross-curriculum aspects as well and can help engage students in multiple subject areas
