Hundreds of lessons are available, most of which include hands-on activities. This site has always been my favorite source of lesson ideas for this reason. I easily adapt the lessons to include technology and opportunities for the students to engage in research.

This resource is a twitter page where Oklahoma teachers can connect to share their ideas, classrooms, and issues important to them (such as those regarding the state of the education system). Although it contains a lot of discussion about the education system, the twitter page describes itself to be "non-political" and a place that "brings OK educators together" through constructive dialogue.

This one-time purchase pays for unlimited server space to host your portfolio or store files, support, and unlimited access to an entire video and lesson plan library for five years.
This site is a wonderful example of a standards connector webpage. It allows you to compile lesson plans and attach the standards along with the concepts you are teaching. It not only has Common Core (which is what most sites have), but it also has the standards for Non-Common Core sites. This is a great resource.
Although Oklahoma uses a modified version of the Standards, this website gives educators a helpful look at the Standards, what they are about, and access to the Standards for teachers and parents alike to look at and use.
