This gives teachers the opportunity to strategically pick applications to engage their students based on where they are individually.

The standards clearly demonstrate what students are expected to learn at each grade level, so that every parent and teacher can understand and support their learning.

We could use this link to dig deeper into what common core standards are. It could also be used to look up specific standards in different states.

This site is a wonderful example of a standards connector webpage. It allows you to compile lesson plans and attach the standards along with the concepts you are teaching. It not only has Common Core (which is what most sites have), but it also has the standards for Non-Common Core sites. This is a great resource.
