This website explores the difference between projects and project based learning. Projects can represent a range of tasks that can be done at home or in the classroom that, quickly or over time. Project Based Learning according to this website features project and focuses on how learning and the product itself. This website contains a tab for information, but it also has a tab for parents which is different compared to other websites explored. It also features a tab for teacher development talking about a conference for teachers to help with PBL.

This is a nonprofit organization that provides information to parents and teachers about media and technology.

This tool is primarily for teachers. The website informs teachers on different projects they can use in the classroom, explains the theory and background knowledge needed to teach project based lessons, and shows them the teaching concepts they can use in order to teach the project based learning lesson.

Resource #4: I enjoyed this resource because it can be paired with the brain pop video in resource #3. This quiz can be used to inform students about digital etiquette and test their knowledge for what is and is not acceptable when communicating with technology.

An example of a wiki created for your classroom to retrieve information from. Perhaps one could be created where the students can edit the entries as well?

This is a great resource because it provides examples of digital storytelling in each content area.

We chose this website because it gives information about how to create digital stories to show to your class. We thought it was a different way to teach material that many teachers may not think to do. We thought that because it is not very common that when digital stories are shown to the class, they will be more interested in the material that is being taught.
