A mobile-capable virtual tour of the Smithsonian's National Postal Museum. This website is great to be able to go look at different things around the US or the world. Especially if a school district doesn't have a lot of money or if it isn't realistic to be able to travel to a certain destination. It will useful to use this tool when learning certain topics.

This website gives resources for teachers to assess their students' content knowledge in a technological way. Assessment of the instruction of content is essential for a teacher. These resources make assessment interesting and show results in a very visual way. This instruction benefits teachers as they get to realize what their students have actually learned. Often students do not want to show that they do not understand the content, these resources give students a chance to share their voice.

This is an application that gets students up and moving. I participated in a practicum last year in a fourth grade room and in between lessons, the teacher would pick a Go Noodle for the kids to dance to. It was a great way for them to get rid of energy before starting the second half of their day.

This source gave some information about a dinosaur that looks a lot like an animal that is scene today. Children would get a kick out of this source because they would be able to relate this dinosaur back to their background knowledge of a typically known animal, the ostrich.

SweetSearch is A Search Engine for Students. It searches only credible Web sites approved by Internet research experts. This one is neat as it has subject specific searches within Sweet Search. It also has a content area that allows students to explore on their own, ways to safely search the internet.
