Wiggio is a website is similar to facebook and twitter and you can work in groups easily, and it is a single website that brings many different aspects together in one simple website. My big campus is a website that makes it easy for teachers to collaborate with other teachers, students, as well as parents. On top of these, my big campus is also great at helping to create lesson plans, and track your students success. Goorulearning is a website that allows teachers and students to learn in new and fun ways. You can gear the quizzes and study guides for the specific grade you are teaching. Mrs. Cornejos blog is a great example of a blog that each person in our group could see using and even gearing our own blogs around. This blog is a great way to keep parents involved in what is happening in the classroom. Mrs. Anderson's website is an example of a wiki website and is similar to a blog and students can get involved as well.

Nowadays, everybody is familiar with internet. Any information which we need can be got easily, such as: health, education, beauty, fashion, business, politic, etc. In education field, internet brings much influence too. If you're a teacher, internet helps you do your job easier.

I chose this article to help me understand what PBL actually is and how it contributes to student's learning in the classroom. Project-Based Learning (PBL) shifts classroom activity away from teacher-centered instruction and emphasizes student-centered projects where the teacher can build relationships with students by acting as their coach, facilitator, and co-learner.

This is a website within classjump.com (collaboration tool) that one school created so teachers, faculty, students, and parents can collaborate and keep open lines of communication. From this site, you can view any teachers lesson plan for any particular class, as well as, get updated on upcoming events. Within this one site, there are many subpages that are easily organized so that any teacher, student, or parent can access the information they need. Assignments, payments, events, and many other things have been collaborated on this one website to make communication at any level much easier.

Gooru is an online source that gives standards for different learning styles and allows teachers all over the world to connect with one another. Teachers can share ideas and lessons.

Edmodo is a website similar to facebook that corresponds to a site that is similar to D2L. If a school does not have their own D2L, Edmodo is a good site to use for one.

Edmodo is an easy way to get your students connected so they can safely collaborate, get and stay organized, and access assignments, grades, and school messages.

My daughter's school uses Edmodo and it works great for students. Teachers assign homework, and students ask follow-up questions while completing the assignment or anything concerning the class lesson.
