This resourced filled website is helpful for teachers of all types. It is geared primarily towards locating information/resources, and then how to incorporate them in your classroom. Particularly, it allows for a simple search of various focused topics. For example, visitors can use the website to search lesson plans by subject, as well as post their own lesson plans, watch videos regarding using educational technology, and more. This website falls under the finding information section of week 6, because we (as teachers) can utilize it to locate resources we may need for class.

S.O.S. for Information Literacy is a dynamic web-based multimedia resource for educators that promises to make a significant contribution to enhancing the teaching of information literacy skills to students in K-16. The project is currently in its final stage of development in which S.O.S. is being expanded for use by high school and college level educators.S.O.S. for Information Literacy will link lesson plans and teaching ideas to related real-world multimedia examples of excellence in teaching, especially focusing on collaborative efforts between classroom teachers and library media specialists in K-12. This was our first pick out of the resources. It's an education website that we used to find quality apps best for our students learning. Instead of it being just a general search engine we could put specifics in place to narrow our search.

This is a GREAT website for teachers of ALL ages. It provides lesson plans (PDF and online versions), interactive games, classroom posters, and numerous other teaching tools for teaching students about Digital Citizenship. It also has these tools for other topics like EdTech and Professional Development.
