It is meant for librarians, documentation and information professionals, researchers students and others interested in the field. It is published bimonthly. It was formerly known as 'DESIDOC Bulletin of Information Technology (DBIT)'.

ROAD records are also downloadable as a MARC XML dump and will be available as RDF triples in 2014.
