Hi everyone! I'm developing a MOOC on International Development. I think it can be a really good course that will promote discussion, local independent networks... I have so many ideas... If it sounds interesting to you, you may want to check it out. Advice, feedback, good wishes are welcome. http://connectwithluis.blogspot.com/
Hi, Lupo, that it is a great idea, I am working too in developing a project for MOOC but after this course and the máster degree (eLearning and IT) I am going to finish on December this year. I am going to see your work and tell you something. Do you have found to do so? or it is going to be only a single MOOC, I wish you look Cheers Julia
I just skimmed through the blog, I sort of understand your initial idea because i have been following Howard Rheingold and taking part of connected courses. Last week it was a really good hangout with Alec Crouso and Mia Zamora and Howard and many more about social learning and connectivity.
It is a really good design and a pedagogical change to introduce peer to peer learning or peer as a co-learner and a teacher.
I love his his tweet - .." ...Part of co-learning is students cooperatively teaching & learning from each other. & part is the teacher learning from students. #ccourses..."
Really like to see your design of connected course. Would like to know more of your instructional designs.. dilrukshi.gamage@gmail.com
Dear Julia and Dilrukshi, Thank you for getting back to me and for your encouragement. I know it's been a while and this is not entirely good practice, but I would appreciate your feedback on the design that I'm doing for a MOOC in international development. This is purely theoretical and I don't have any funding for it...yet, but I'm hoping to attract it. Please have a look if you have a moment http://connectwithluis.blogspot.com/ Cheers!
