I recently led an introductory iPad workshop for Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty at a local university. One of the resources I prepared for them was a list of iPad apps that might be useful in classes with the department's students or in the clinic with the children they serve. Many of these apps also have versions for the iPhone and iPod touch device. I compiled this list from a number of websites and articles I reviewed. These are not presented in any particular order. Those working directly with the children - teachers, clinicians, parents and other caregivers - can best judge which of these apps are most appropriate to meet a particular child's needs. UPDATE: I've added a PDF file you can download at the end of the list. The file gives the app name, a brief description, price and live URL link for each app."
