  •

The CHCS Flaherty Visiting Fellow will pursue a research project pertaining in some way to the study of public education. The Center is particularly interested in the work of scholars exploring the evolving meaning of "public"--whether in the arena of "real" life or on the representational level (or both).  Preference will be given to projects that will have special resonance for the University of Massachusetts Boston community on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the institution, and which take a truly interdisciplinary approach to the subject matter.
