Here's a great site, hosted by Discovery Education, that summarizes and provides links to many of the Web 2.0 tools we discussed and/or used in the Summer Institute. Just click on the various categories (e.g., Presentation Tools, Video Tools, etc.) to see listings/links of those types of tools.

"This was one of the best presentations at the #140conf! The reason it resonated with everyone there is not only because of Chris' passion and drive, but because the points he brings up are right on target! Our education system is so badly broken and our kids are not getting the education they deserve. They are also not given the tools they need to make it out in the real world. Our schools are stuck in the dark ages, while we are living in a time of great enlightenment. Watch this video! Get inspired! Create change! "

Xtranormal | Text-to-Movie - 0 views

xtranormal's mission is to bring movie-making to the people. Everyone watches movies and we believe everyone can make movies. Movie-making, short and long, online and on-screen, private and public, will be the most important communications process of the 21st century. Our revolutionary approach to movie-making builds on an almost universally held skill-typing. You type something; we turn it into a movie. On the web and on the desktop.
