This series of short interviews and lectures explores the business of predicting the future, from technology to crime. Nicholas Negroponte - founder and chairman of Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab - discusses some of his predictions from the 1980's, most notably the use of fingers as a digital stylus. Marc Goodman of the Future Crimes Institute explores the role of modern technology in crime. Similar to Vannevar Bush's "As We May Think," this radio piece presents some perspective on the evolution and effects of modern technology over the last thirty years.
